Web Hosting & Third Party Applications.

Subscriptions to these services are separate from the design fee. Payment of these services will be billed straight to the client (you) and it will be your responsibility to ensure payment occurs in a timely manner. Common third-party applications include custom domain name services, booking systems, and email marketing applications.

Web Hosting.

We manage the creation of your site through Squarespace under our own Squarespace account; however, when the project commences, you will be asked to create your own through the link provided. Through this account, you will be prompted to manage the payment of their hosting services. If Squarespace terminates the website due to non-payment, the entire design fee is needed to reconstruct the site from the beginning. This isn’t ideal for either of us, so please check your emails for payment prompts. Another hot tip is to add the payment date to your calendar to ensure you don’t miss the payment if you have changed your email address or accidentally filed the email into junk. Squarespace invoices are easily accessible under ‘billing’ in the settings menu. We will go through this during the handover process. However, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Custom Email Address.

Our suggested custom email host is Google. You can purchase a custom email address directly from the Squarespace interface. If you would like us to organise AND set this up for you, we can at the cost of $15. Please inform us of this so you can add this to your quote. Payment for the email (to Google) will be redirected straight to you for management.
